This stunning Louis XVI-style commode is made of wood stained in a rich mahogany color. Adoring the facade are marquetry and parquetry inlaid details of flowers, vases, and musical instruments with bronze ormolu accents. Atop there is a mounted marble top in a rouge and white color combinations. The first drawer is smaller and features a bronze frieze. Below there are two larger, deep drawers wits cast bronze moulding, corner accents, and decorative drawer pulls. The chest is finished with intricate square tapered legs with bronze toe caps depicting acanthus leaves and sabots.
