This unique 1880's French Louis XVI-style chest of drawers is made of solid wood covered with elegant marquetry and inlaid designs. The two front drawers have inlaid designs on the outer edges and marquetry details at the center depicting of a bouquet of flowers. Each drawer has two decorative brass handles and a center decorative brass keyhole plate. There are bronze ormolu ornaments on the top-front corners, bottom center and on the front serpentine legs. The piece is finished with its original multicolored beveled edge marble top and brass caps on the legs. This chest is solid, sturdy, and ready to be used for years to come.
