This 1950's French Louis XV-style pair of commodes or chest of drawers is made wood that has been finished in a beautiful mahogany color stain finish. Adorning the facade and sides of the commodes are intricate floral motif marquetry designs. On the legs and bottom are brass ormolu accents with floral and leafy accents. The two drawers feature decorative brass handles and keyhole. The top of the commodes feature a multi colored marble top. The locks and key are original and in working condition. This pair of commodes are strong, sturdy, and ready to make a statement for years to come.
