Price On Request
A rare set of ten lacemaker's lamps of different heights circa early 19th century. These oil-based lamps were widely made in the 19th and early 20th century, serving as lighting for lacemakers. They were all made of hand-blown glass, usually in one piece; each lacemaker's lamp has a signature feature: a spherical, hollow reservoir, be it full or flattened, with a rimless opening for admitting fuels such as whale oil.
