Alfa Romeo Giulia sprint 1600 1962
US$66,611.80
**Model History**
The Spider, Sprint and Sprint Speciale Giulias introduced together with the Giulia sedan in 1962 were rebadged and updated versions of earlier Giulietta models (series 101), now with a 1.6 litre instead of a 1.3 litre engine. Easiest to distinguish from a Giulietta is the Spider, which featured a bonnet bulge to clear the slightly taller engine. The Sprint coupe was also available for a short time with the 1.3 litre engine as the Sprint 1300 - essentially a Giulietta Sprint with a different name. Most models were discontinued in 1964, with exception of the Sprint Speciale, of which production continued until 1966.
**This Example**
This particular car is a lovely Alfa Romeo Giulia 1600 Sprint from 1962. This car was sold new in the Netherlands and comes with its **original old Dutch registration**!
An **extensive body and mechanical restoration** was carried out by an Alfa enthusiast for its long term owner of nearly 20 years. A correct Tipo 112 engine was mechanically rebuild and is fitted with twin Weber carburetors. Also different seats are fitted which have a reclining back adjustmust. The car comes with photos of the restoration and records available with the car.
The car is now running in. Please notice the panel fit may seem not right but this is because of the new door rubbers.
If you are looking for a beautiful, restored Alfa Romeo Giulia 1600 Sprint and don't want to wait for your own restoration and spend much more than expected, this is the car! It is difficult to find another example in this condition.
