The GTX was an absolute street beast back in the day and this car is a fine example of that beast. The Plumb Crazy Purple paint and black stripes are absolutely miles deep. Now, we know that this color was first introduced in 1970 and Plymouth actually called it In-Violet, but it looks absolutely stunning on this car. The fit and finish are absolutely stellar and if you saw it at a show, and especially if you are a Mopar nut, then you just have to run over and take a look at this car. Now that you have walked around and just about ready to drool all over it, you ask to pop the hood. When you do, you see a glorious 440 stuffed between the fenders. To some people they liked this motor better than the Hemi, but that argument is for another day. No, this car was not born with the 440 you see, but this is a tribute to the type that you could have purchased back in the day. This motor has had about 10,000 miles on it since this car was done. So, the miles you see on the odometer is what is really on the chassis. We know that you can hardly contain yourself at this point. You have to run around and open that driver door and get ready to have the time of your life in this car. Now, you open that big door and slide yourself in to the extremely comfortable bench seat, yes not everything in the muscle car era had buckets, and get yourself ready to let this baby loose. Okay, now make sure that nobody is in your way, and drop that 727 automatic transmission in to drive and go have the time of your life and burn a little rubber off of the 295x50's tucked underneath the rear quarters.
