1962 Pontiac Catalina Convertible
Just Toys Classic Cars is proud to present a beautifully preserved 1962 Pontiac Catalina Convertible. This is a pretty rare car. Less than 17,000 of these were produced originally, and we can't see there being that many left in existence. The fit and finish on this car are in great shape. It has been in a museum for the last 20 years of its life. As you will see in the pics, the white paint still gleams and you could shave in the bright work. This is one of those cars that if you saw it at a car show, you would just have to go over and look at it. The interior is in fantastic shape as you can see in the pics. The interior for the age of the car is in great shape and it is the original interior. This is is a great color combo on the white paint. This red interior just pops. The power white top does not have any rips or tears in it either. Like we said, this is a very well preserved vehicle. This car still retains its original AM radio, original custom steering wheel, deluxe hub caps, and the outside mirror remote control. Under the hood sits the original 389 it was born with and you will see the stamps to prove this in the pics as well. This is a great running car that just purrs like a kitten. It has a Carter 4 barrell carb on it and it just fires right up. This is before the monster horsepower days of the 389, but this car is still putting out 230 HP. Not bad for a cruising convertible. This is mated to the original Hydro automatic transmission, and then out to the original rear end. Just fire this car up, throw it down in to drive and throw your arm around that special someone and have the drive of your life. This is also a very well optioned car with power steering, power drum brakes, the HD transmission and air cleaner as well. This is just one of those cars that bring back memories, or stirs up things in you that want to make new memories today.
