### OVERVIEW
**1966 Shelby GT350**
VIN: SFM6S2373
Ordered on 8/25/66 from Shelby American, this GT350 was shipped just five days later to Robert J. Poeschel Ford in Oxnard, CA on 8/30/66. They were invoiced for $3,547 plus $50 for the Le Mans stripe plus $45.45 for radio, and $40 for rear seats. Wallace D Soule of Lompac, CA would be the Shelby's first owner, purchasing the car for $4,217.17 on 9/17/66.
Soule would own the car for 24 years, and would occasionally race it at local California tracks. The car would pass on to Ralph Miller of Riverside, CA in March of 1990. He would go on to restore the car in its current red and white paint scheme. Sticking to the original stock build spec the only major mechanical change he make would be the installation of a Top Loader 4-speed transmission.
Shortly after its restoration the car would be featured in Paul Oxman's Legendary Sports Cars calendar in 1994. Miller enjoyed the car, and would occasionally take it to events at Willow Springs Raceway to stretch its legs.
In September of 1997 Arthur Atkins of Pasadena, CA would purchase the GT350 from Miller. Most recently the car was owned by David Lerian of La Canada Flintridge, CA. The Shelby has only covered about 2500 miles since its restoration.
