A step change for Mercedes from the 190 to 230 SL meant a complete refresh on the chassis with safety paramount and a more powerful engine, creating desirable roadsters which have become increasingly collectible in recent years.


Our 230SL is presented as you would expect, having had only 3 owners in over 50years. The most recent owner commissioned an extensive body restoration, whilst maintaining the original trim and brightwork. This work is documented on two discs. The car drives extremely well, with effortless changes from the auto box, and has both soft and hard top hood options.


A Becker Mexico stereo/satnav has been installed keeping period looks while providing modern sound and helpful directions. Set on period correct white wall tyres. As part of a larger collection this car has been used sparingly by the owner since restoration.
