Inspired by the work of Escher, with Maurits we want to prove that a table doesn’t have to be antique to be an impressive testimony of craftsmanship. The marquetry table top in reclaimed oak contains 381 rhombi cut from old Italian wine barrels. Handmade by master craftsmen in Tuscany, Italy. The tabletop is 10 cm / 4" thick, the height underneath is 68 cm / 26 3/4". Comfortably seats ten. Also availabe round (160 cm / 5'3" dia, seats 8) or longer (295 cm / 9'8", seats 12 or 349 cm / 11'5", seats 14) with black powder-coated iron legs or brass legs.
