Working closely with his student Edvard Kindt-Larsen, Kaare Klint designed the "Mix" easy chair in 1930, writing "a mix of Kindt and Klint" on the working drawings.
The chair is available in mahogany, European cherry, and oak, and can be upholstered in goat hide, oxhide, or fabric, as requested. The chair is finished with piping or brass nails.
There are loose cushions in the seat and back.
Regarded as the godfather of modern Danish design, Kaare Klint (1888-1954) made a name for himself as a furniture designer in the early 1900s. He was responsible for such design icons as the world-renowned Safari Chair and the Faaborg Chair, and for the overall design of the Danish Pavilion at the 1929 Barcelona International Exposition
