DESCRIPTION

To produce this model 3,700 pieces of wood of different breeds where used, such as birch, maple, cherry, boxwood, walnut, pear bright, pear embossed dark, olive, tree roots arborvitae, rosewood tree, tulip tree, tree roses and Indian Rosewood. Each part of chest of drawers is skillfully inlaid with various episodes of the story: the front facade presents the classical monuments, on the right facade shows the perspective view of "Porta Dieda" - city of Bassano del Grappa, on the left side there is the image of the arch "Porta Dzhove" in Santa Maria di Faller (Civita Castellana) . The value of this model consist of compilation of the different pieces of wood breeds, colors and shades. Wooden plates 4-5 mm thickness give to the model a bright pictorial look. As a talented painter who mix the paints on the palette, our craftsmen select a mosaic plates of the different breeds and tones, choosing the best option of colors. The model has the secret drawers. The upper part (top) is made from the valuable black marble (Portoro). On the sides there are four wooden columns which are made under the "marble", top of which is ended with column cap, molded from gilded bronze.

PRODUCT STORY

This chest of drawers has amazing beauty in the neoclassical style of Lombardia. The prototype was the dresser created by famous cabinetmaker Mafetstsoli, the most distinguished alumnus of the "Madzholini".
