DESCRIPTION

The internal structure of the chest of drawers is made from ash. The external part: legs made of solid walnut, mosaic pieces recruited from fine wood is 4-5 mm thick, including - walnut, rose wood, rosewood, maple. Every detail is collected by artisans using glue and nails. The inlay done by our cabinetmakers is never repeating. The model has the secret drawers. The bronze alloy locks are made using ancient techniques of artisans, covered with gold leaf. Part of them are the reproduction of the originals from historical times, other part is made according to exclusive drawings of Ebanart factory. At the request the upper part (top) could be made from wood or veneer «Emperador» marble.

PRODUCT STORY

In the year of the birth of Louis XVI (1754) one french edition "LE MERCURE GALANT" was published ironic entreaty to “artisans» to not convert the “beautiful straight tree» into the "sinuous forms”. It was a sign that the epoch of Luigi XV style began to lose it's admirers. At this time, called the "transition period", there is a progressive shift in the art and architecture of the style of "Rococo" to the more direct and moderate lines so-called "neo-classical" period. This dresser is an example of that epoch: bending of the legs and front side, gilded bronze elements, carving, variety of different types of wood, protruding central part. Personalization of this model by Ebanart masters transforms it into piece of art.
