This beautiful burr walnut 'Jupe' dining table is in the Regency style and is very functional. With the leaves attached around the circumference it is 210cm in diameter and can seat ten people in comfort, with the leaves removed, it is 155 cm in diameter, and can seat up to eight people. The burr walnut veneers are of the highest quality and have been highlighted by the crossbanding on the outside edge of the table. It is very solid as there is a large centre base flanked by four columns which give the table it's superb stability. You pull out the slides, see photos, from the sides of the table and fit the leaves on them by sliding them onto the table and securing them with brass clips, which are located underneath. There is an attractive matching burr walnut cabinet in which the leaves are housed when not in use.
