Antique mortar in Serena stone, made in the 19th century or earlier, very rare, from Tuscany (Central Italy). It was probably used in a pharmacy. As you can see in the photos, the mortar is in excellent condition despite its age. There are only small cracks and defects due to the wear and tear of time.
