He opened several cabinet manufacturing workshop, one of which was located in Paris, at no.19 of rue Michel-le-Comte. He created many different pieces of furniture, with a slight preference for small cabinets and work tables. He displayed his creations at a Paris fair in 1855, at the Industrial Arts Fair in 1861 and at the 1867 Paris Exhibition.
