Pair of antique chairs made of camphor wood, a rare and precious material. At the center of the back there is an elaborate frieze full of meaning: a bat holds an amulet, symbol of good luck. Is finely carved also the endless knot which symbolized the eternal continuum of mind. Originally designed to accommodate prestigious guests, were usually used by the imperial dignitary and his wife.
