This beautiful sculpture representing a Thai Buddha in position Bhumisparsamudra. In this position the right hand resting on the knee with the palm down and the fingers that touch the ground. The Buddha takes this position when it reaches the lighting to symbolize contact with the ground. This mudra symbolize the experience of Gutama Buddha's enlightenment.
