Large black noble wooden French Napoleon III Officers mantel clock, finished with beautiful gilt bronze ornaments. This mantel clock is from the period 1870/1890 and has a well running fixed clapper movement. The movement is signed Japy Fréres et Cie Beaucourt France. The movement has a bell strike on the whole and half hours. The gilt bronze ornaments are very beautiful and detailed. The photos are part of the description of the mantel clock. The white enamelled dial is behind facet cut glass in a bronze framed door. The mantel clock is in great condition, the winding key is included.
