The top is lined with brown hide which has been hand tooled with gilded border and gold leaf decoration. The desk features four drawers on the right side including one with double depth suitable for filing. The left hand side has one proper drawer and three dummy drawers which open to reveal a cupboard with a shelf. In addition there is a middle drawer for all your stationery. The drawers are lined with solid oak. The desk has decorative brass 'drop' handles and has wonderful carved decoration throughout.
