Antique mid-19th Century German 18k gold snuff box, of traditional rectangular form, the cover applied with central enamelled oval plaque depicting a bouquet of flowers, surrounded lid decorated with applied flowers in three colours of gold, sides and base engraved with engine turned decoration. Hallmarked 18 (750 gold standard), Makers mark for Carl Marton Weisshaupt & Sohne, Hanau, circa 1860.
