In the form of a covered jar decorated in iroe-hiramaki-e and inlaid with carved and stained ivory and mother of pearl on a polished gold ground. The design depicts a man wrestling with the Bunbuku-chagama (badger teakettle) on one side, the reverse with two men rushing to his aid. The interior in nashiji.
Attached is a wood and ivory netsuke depicting the legend of Okuninushi no Mikoto, the Shinto deity, God of Mariners, killing a cockerel, signed Miwa.
