Centered by a 1.31 carat claw set old European cut diamond this ring features hand wrought platinum leaves framing the glistening diamond. Grading as beautiful VS1 clarity, and K color the center GIA Certified diamond is a very high quality gem in every regard. Perfectly cut and proportioned the spiraling center diamond is a very bright and lively stone thanks to its superb quality cut. Securing the diamond are four claw form platinum prongs, each one designed as a trio of petite platinum claws. Hand wrought diamond set leaves provide the perfect backdrop for the center diamond. A trio of leaves can be found on either side of the center diamond, set with a combined total of ten old European cut diamonds. Weighing a combined 0.30 carats, the ten accenting diamonds all grade as VS clarity and beautiful H color making them a perfect match to the ultra high quality center diamond. Entirely hand wrought, this ring is not a cast piece and would have been made entirely by hand, a painstaking and very lengthy process. Currently a size 5 1/4 US, we are happy to offer expert resizing free of charge for this beautiful ring. Ring measures just over 7mm across the top at the widest point from north to south. Mounting tests as solid platinum and is in excellent condition. Dating to the 1950's, this ring is of American origin.
