Here is another Datejust for the condition maniac. This one is still virtually brand new, with its sticker still visible on the back and, of course, an absolutely impeccable, unpolished case. It comes with its very original leather strap all dried up, and its Rolex gold filled buckle all tarnished. It’s worth mentioning that the ref 1600 – with the smooth bezel instead of the fluted – is a quite unusual catch. Also the textured dial makes another statement about the age of this piece. Case – Stainless steel, with 18k yellow gold flat bezel, unpolished. Movement – Automatic, Rolex caliber 1570. Dial – Silver textured, flawless. Band – Original Rolex lizard band and gold plated buckle.
