Featuring hand formed open filigree work and calibre French cut sapphires, this ring is a wonderful example of an original high quality art deco engagement ring. Centering this ring is a stunning 1.47 carat J color VS2 clarity old european cut GIA Certified diamond. Of the same quality as diamonds used by Tiffany's and Cartier, the center diamond is an ultra high quality and substantial gem. Secured by four polished platinum prongs, the center diamond is framed by a total of four calibrated French cut sapphires that make up two half moon shapes. Of beautiful rich vibrant blue color and VS clarity, the French cut sapphires are custom cut into a half moon shape that frames the center diamond beautifully. Accenting the ring throughout, a total of twelve single cut diamonds are bead set into the beautifully hand engraved filigree mounting. Weighing a combined 0.14 carats and grading as VS clarity and F/G color the single cut diamonds add an extra touch of sparkle to this dazzling art deco ring. Total weight of the four sapphires is 0.10 carats. In excellent condition, the engraving work is detailed and is a traditional art deco motif. Mounting tests as 900 fine platinum.
