Centered by a 0.80 carat antique European cut diamond, this ring features a fantastic hand crafted filigree mounting with intricate hand pierced filigree work and hand engraving throughout. Grading as beautiful SI1 clarity and top white G/H color the center diamond is a vivacious and high quality gem. Secured by a half dozen polished platinum prongs, the diamond sits snugly in it's one of a kind hand crafted mounting. Of beautiful quality all around, the diamond boasts a superb cut with fantastic symmetry making it a truly dazzling gem. In excellent condition, the original art deco period mounting has led a charmed life and shows fantastic strong detailing throughout the high quality hand engraving. The mounting also features beautiful hand pierced wire filigree work throughout all sides, also in excellent condition. Done in a traditional art deco manner, the leaf style engraving continues through the shoulders of the ring as well as through the north and south sides of the mounting complemented by the hand pierced filigree work.
