Wonderful Renaissance Chateau, a feature of the Perigord landscape for over 500 years which dominates the hills and valleys of the Dordogne countryside.

This ancient fortified castle is set in 120 hectares and incorporates several farm cottages and buildings.

Of particular architectural note, are the small chapel in one part of the Chateau and the listed Pigeonnier which stands on 8 columns in the grounds.

Throughout the Chateau are monumental stone fireplaces, flagstone floors, carved woodwork and original beams.

Its ancestory is clear with its crenellations and vine covered walls in the central courtyard.
With its elevated situation, the windows (as well as the viewing point at the top of the round tower) offer magnificent views of the French countryside.

Within the grounds are equestrian facilities, including an indoor arena and extensive modern stables. The grounds surround the Chateau to give complete privacy and have potential for leisure activities of all kinds including the creation of a golf course or exclusive country house hotel (subject to planning consent).

The Chateau has easy access to the Transeuropean motorway which crosses southern France from Bordeaux to Clermont Ferrand. Bordeaux is 90 minutes drive with its international airport and high speed train links.
