G WHIZ, a yacht capable of speed, reliability, comfort and style. Every element was minutely scrutinized to meet these objectives.
Aluminium construction was specified and the long foredeck superstructure mounded in Kevlar to provide stowage and extend the dramatic profile. And to achieve the desired almost 50-knot speed, twin MTU engines feed 7,200 hp to power the largest pair of "Levi drive" units in existence. A large master suite and twin-bedded guest suite are ample accommodation for the extended cruising this yacht can undertake. The design also incorporates a light and airy open-plan saloon with an integral galley which leads out onto a spacious aft deck. Permanent crew of three to ensure a smooth running, are accommodated in the Captain's cabin and twin-berthed foc'sle. Lastly, the yacht's striking profile should not be marred by the tender which is neatly stowed aft on the swimming platform, ready to be launched easily by means of a davit.

The result of an extensive research and collaboration between the late Jon Bannenberg, Naval architect Renato “Sonny” Levi and Brooke Yachts produced the epitome of innovation and elegance in a fast yacht. The profile and interior are unmistakably Bannenberg's inspiration through to the clever use of fabrics and colour. There is sophistication, comfort and style – but also fun. The ride is exhilarating. But the level of noise and vibration usually associated with high speed is, quite simply, not there. It is impossible to imagine the experience of being propelled at 50 knots seated in the high tech wheelhouse or lounging in comfort on the aft deck. There is no parallel. G.
