Interior Features and Equipment
This Black Watch 40 has only had two owners since new and both have looked after the boat with no expense spared. The current owner has reupholstered all the saloon in genuine leather, and refinished all other upholstery in durable vinyl, and also had all the wood work refinished.

Forward in the Black Watch 40 is the owner’s stateroom featuring a double island berth and port and starboard hanging lockers.To starboard is a spacious cabin with two large single bunks and wardrobe. Coming aft and to port is a spacious bathroom with separate shower cubicle, custom teak grates have been installed. Take three steps up and you are now on the saloon level, discreet LED lighting has been installed in the stair risers and the deck..

In the saloon you will find a large bar to port with under bench fridge and cupboards. The galley with double bowl sink, corian bench tops, microwave and electric cook top with overhead and under bench cupboards is located on the starboard side. Above the bar and galley on the main bulkhead is the TV/video and stereo. The saloon has a large settee to port which easily converts to a double berth and off to starboard is a comfortable dinette with an elegant timber table. The dinette lowers to become a double bed.

The whole atmosphere of the interior is warm and inviting; quality fabrics, real leather, LED lights, custom teak and holly flooring throughout and great sound system make this a very special boat to be on.

Electrical & Mechanical Equipment
This Black Watch is unique with her twin Yanmar 375hp engines. These engines will power the Black Watch 40 to a speed of 28 knots with a sizeable load, and a comfortable cruise on 22 to 26 knots using an average of 100 litres per hour. Acceleration of the vessel is sensational with maneuverability which is often described as the best in the business. The Black Watch 40 will leap backwards at 10 knots and carve 360 degrees turns in less than 30 seconds.

The engines and generator have just had a major service (Aug 2016) with extensive rewiring carried out and new gauges installed.
