Located just 2 minutes from the famous Jemaa El Fna square, and with one of the most beautiful and spacious gardens in the Medina (around 900 m2), with its orange trees, olive trees, jacarandas, and cypress trees, all watered by one of the few wells of the Medina makes this Riad truly one of the most special.

The Riad has: 3 reception rooms, 15 bedrooms with individual bathrooms, and a pool of 11.86 X 3.75 meters on the terrace. All on a surface of 2056 m2 on the ground floor, besides surfaces upstairs (Harem, Masria, the tower and the swimming pool).

This Riad is loaded full of history - it was the place of reception of the various tribal chiefs in time specific to Madani EL GLAOUI, who was Grand Vizier to the sultan Moulay HAFID. During this period, he was at the Riad with envoys of Marechal LYAUTEY, and Queen VICTORIA, to organise the creation of the Alliance Israélite Universelle.

After the death of Madani GLAOUI in 1917, his young widow, the daughter of the Grand Vizier Mohamed EL MOKRI, lived at the Riad in the courtyard known as the Harem until her marriage with her handsome brother Thami GLAOUI. From this union was born the painter Hassan GLAOUI. The Riad has seen other owners before - being that of Thierry de BEAUCE, former Minister of President François MITTERAND.

Since 2001 the Riad has been a guest house which has received several stars of show biz such as Charlotte RAMPLING, Naomi CAMPBELL, Kate MOSS, Ridley SCOTT, Calvin KLEIN.
