The roofing, which is newly built, has been done with natural wooden beams and planking, soaked in water and not solvent-based products, and with bioecological insulation which guarantees suitable energy efficiency. The roof tiles have been recovered from old buildings.
The floors are part hand-made recycled tiles, and part stoneware tiles from the Cotto d'Este.
