Former royal possession, passed to the House of Uzes by Philippe Le Bel in 1281, this magnificent historic chateau, wonderfully restored and perfectly maintained, demonstrates the power of the families who lived there. It is built on the edge of a village, in a comanding position, set around a square dungeon and comprises a serie of four towers connected by a wall walk. It is surrounded by a beautiful enclosed park of 1 ha and it benefits from a stunning view over several miles.

Access the fortified property from the park by a very large door that controls the access to the courtyard. A second door which used to be equipped with a portcullis gate is the entrance to the chateau itself.
