Finished in September of 1992, this RS America was sold at Champion Porsche in Pompano, Florida on April 15, 1992. The first owner, Carlos B. Cook III, had come a long way for this rare Porsche and immediately brought it back to his home in Uncasville, CT. His service records show below average mileage and above average maintenance during its early years. By 1996 the car had covered only 11,330 miles.In June of 2014 the RS would be purchased by Exclusive Imports of Scottsdale, and Canepa would purchase the car from them.
