The eighth rendition to the classic pony car was an instant success. Though not the numbers of the first model release the 8th Gen would sell well over 125k units. This GT has been pampered and cruised ion all of its life. With less than 33000 miles on the odometer it is easy to see why this car looks so good. The paint is in excellent condition and shows very nicely with no major defects it is a super rare find. Pop the hood and the best sounding motor to ever leave Detroit. The 5.0 has been decked out with almost any "bolt on" you can think of. The BBK cold air intake is a must on these 5.0's and the high energy coil was also a great addition. As far as internals the only thing that has been touched was a set of Cobra roller rockers giving the 5.0 better responses at higher RPM's. The BBK strut tower brace makes the car much more stable when cornering. The look though is what will probably catch you before any of these items with all the chrome and color matched items ensuring a trophy at the next local car show. The body kit looks great with the fit being of the highest quality. The matching hood looks menacing and reminds me a lot of the classic Cobra R that released the same year. A set of Baer brakes upfront bring everything down to a screeching halt ensuring that all aspects of performance have been touched. The interior is in excellent condition and looks like it has 330 miles on it and not the 33k miles....
