**Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III (RHD) 1965**

In late 1963 the third and final iteration of the classic Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud was introduced. With slightly altered exterior dimensions and a remodelled interior, Rolls Royce managed to shave over 100 KG off its total weight. Other improvements were made, specifically to the engine, including fitting 2-inch (51 mm) SU carburettors in place of the 1¾ inch units used on the Series II Silver Cloud. Rolls Royce indicated there had been nearly a 7% improvement to the engines overall power output.

This car was exported to California, where it was extremely well looked after and maintained by only 2 owners until eventually being imported back into the UK some 40 years later. It comes in its original Garnet over Sand livery with Beige hide, Cumberland stone carpets and Burr wood veneer. It also features fully electric windows, combined parking and indicating lights and Avon black tubeless tyres.

Having spent the majority of its life in the car friendly climate of California, this fantastic example is definitely one of the finest Silver Cloud III examples surviving today.
