A unique 1990 Jaguar XJR-S 6.0 V12 Sport MK2 for sale. Supplied from new by Jaguar, Paris, France on the 29th June 1990\. In 1998 together with TWR, Jaguar introduced a special version XJR-S, to celebrate winning the Le Mans 24-hour race. This car is one of the 124 6.0 V12`s produced and is therefore extremely rare and, of course, sought after! The car was hand-built to the specifications of the first owner at the Bloxham TWR-Jaguar Sport plant, where the legendary XJ220 was also built. The XJR-S 6.0 has a 333 Hp strong hand-built 6.0 V12 with special cylinder heads, a forged crankshaft, Cosworth pistons and a Zytek fuel injection system. It also was fitted with a stainless steel sports exhaust system, a special energy absorbing, height adjustable, steering column, a fully independent sports undercarriage with double triangles, enhanced Jaguar Sport coil springs, Bilstein gas -filled shocks and stabilizer rod. Optically there were a number of embellishments such as: Sports detailing, different front and rear bumpers, a spoiler and light alloy Jaguar Sport Speedline rims. The XJR-S only came in five colour options, the Solent Blue with Magnolia leather trim of this car certainly being the most attractive choice. This well maintained XJR-S has just 90,415 km on the clock. The nice bodywork has a perfect paint finish with nice and straight panel works. The car interior has clearly been well looked after and is marvellous. It has present-day luxury extras such as; electric windows, electrically adjustable heated seats, aircon, automatic transmission and electrically operated wing mirrors. This car should absolutely not be confused with XJR-S 5.3 V12 that does not even come close to emulating this fantastic XJR-S 6.0!
