**History shows that** only twice before have Ferrari used the name "California", the ultimate mark of desirability to a road car. Namely, the 1957 250 GT California and the 1966 365 California.

The Ferrari California is a fantastic 2 door hard top convertible powered by a hand assembled, 4.3 litre, V8 engine that enables the car to reach a blistering top speed of 193 mph. With a crisp and clinical semi-automatic transmission, the California is equally as pleasurable to drive at 30mph as it is at 130mph.

It was the first Ferrari road car to have a front-mounted V8 engine, the first to have a dual-clutch gearbox and, although not the first to have a removable hardtop, is the first to follow the current trend of having a fully retractable one that folds electronically into its boot. The roof mechanism is in correct working order.

Our car is in fantastic condition, having only completed 12,500 miles from new, the bodywork is straight, the paintwork is immaculate and the nosecone remains faultless.

Finished in a stunning combination of Ferrari Bianco Avus, complemented with a Nero interior and Nuovo Rosso carpets, the California is delightfully presented. The driver and passenger seats are embossed with the Ferrari logo, the seat bolsters are unmarked, and the rear seats appear unused. Throughout the vehicle the Nuovo Rosso carpets remain in fantastic condition. This is a fabulous car that perfectly captures the essence of a great Ferrari while simultaneously successfully appealing to a new breed of luxury car drivers.

This California is fitted with a stunning set of unmarked diamond cut Alloy wheels and Rosso Corsa brake calipers. This combination beautifully contrasts with the White exterior and enhance the appearance of the car whilst the Brembo carbon brakes improve the overall driveability of the car.
