The Pantera (Italian for "Panther") was a mid-engined sports car produced by the De Tomaso car company of Italy from 1971 to 1991. An analysis by the Pantera Owners Club of America (POCA) of the Vin numbers, suggest that only 170 LHD GT5-S Pantera's were likely to have been built out of a total production run of 187.

Our car is the GT5 S model, which has the distinctive wide body look and blended arches. The GT5 also benefitted from 18″ bare aluminium polished wheels, quad exhaust pipes, rear boot-lid wing, improved braking system and a more luxurious interior. The 'S' in the GT5-S name stands for "steel", the car features a single piece of flared steel fenders instead of the GT5's riveted-on fibreglass flares, and a smaller steel front air dam. Otherwise the GT5-S was largely identical to the GT5.

This stunning car is finished immaculately in Raven Black with contrasting White ruffled leather interior that is in impeccable condition throughout. The interior is extremely luxurious, featuring soft ruffled leather seats with a Burr Walnut wooden dashboard and matching door-card fillets. The door-card fillets are also monogram inlayed with the DeTomaso logo. Finally, this car benefits from factory air-conditioning which chills correctly.

Upon final inspection, both the high gloss Black coachwork and interior are faultless. The alloy wheels are in original factory condition and are fitted with a correct matching set of Michelin tyres. The engine bay is highly detailed, which would not disappoint the keenest enthusiast. Additionally, the underside of the car is in a time-warp condition, and is in pristine condition.

Our DeTomaso Pantera drives correctly and effortlessly, whilst under load and is sure to put a smile on your face every time you change gear. It is the perfect marriage of Italian exotica with a muscle engine that only has 12,600 miles reading on the speedometer.
