The vehicle was registered on 21.09.1987 by Hans Wieland Chev Olds as Hans Wieland's Demo. In Canada the vehicle had one Driver and one only 'real test drive' @ 5.00am on a Hwy to Winnipeg topping 245 km/hr.In the summer of 1991 Peter Perse, the Brother-in-Law, fullfilled his wish and tranfered the vehicle to Germany. He left Winnipeg with 17.000 km and drove the vehicle the 3500 km to Halifax to load it on the boat, endeding up with a skin-rash in Halifaz from enjoying one to many lobsters. Peter registered the vehicle only during the summer, this requires in Germany an annual inspection. In the off-season the vehicle was garaged and on blocks. The vehicle has had two Drivers only and 50.867 km. It has never known a scratch and is in excceptionel condition on the outside and under the hood. All is original, tires and battery were replaced. Peter used the 'Haynes' 'Chevrolet Corvette Manual' and maintained a supply of parts, incl. several set of plugs & filters, even a starter.Even though the vehicle hasn't been registered for more than a year, it obliged and started on the first turn of the key as if it did run the day before.
