This model was produced during the time that Autobianchi formed part of the Fiat group. It has recently been fully restored. The lovely bodywork is solid and leaves a neat impression. The underbody is extremely well preserved with no evidence of ay rust. The Stellina is a small spider with a rear mounted engine and transmission. During its short production life of only two years only 502 models were ever made. In fact the Stellina was the predecessor of the Fiat 850 Spider. The Stellina has outside panels made of fiberglass on a steel frame based on the chassis of the Fiat 600D. At the time it was the first Italian car with a fiberglass body. The Stellina has a Fiat 600D engine and drum brakes to all four wheels. The car comes with lots of information and invoices. It has a lovely 'Bianco Ghiaccio' finish with black vinyl trim.
