"Euro-spec, final model of the type 930 Turbo with a 5-speed transmission"
The example we offer here is the one we dealt with in 2015 and it is now back in our custody again.
It has been repainted in the same original color of slate grey metallic and therefore regained the brilliance it once had with no stone chips. Other than the new paint, the car is in highly original conditions.
For one thing, the steering wheel does not show the typical wear of a 90,000-km car and still remains just beautiful. The leather interior retains beautiful conditions and the roof lining still fits tight with no stains. The optional electric sunroof operates smoothly. The carpets remain clean and soft to the touch. Although the optional sports seats show a little sign of use, they still firmly hold the occupants with an unbelievable amount of elasticity for 26-year-old seats.
This example was imported to Japan on a parallel basis in November of 1990 and registered in the next year.
While Japan- and U.S.- spec models are handicapped by the tougher emission regulations, Porsche equipped the Euro-spec models with higher-output units producing 300 ps.
What sets the 1989 and final model apart from the rest is the type G50 5-speed manual transmission by Borg Warner unequipped in any other years. Since the 1989 model has established a status as the best performing 930 of all, it now enjoys a great reputation in a classic automobile market. It is no longer uncommon for this model to be dealt with at the price higher than that when new.
It is equipped with a non-original exhaust as of now, but it will come with the original unit as well. Under the front hood, there equipped with a non-original strut tower bar. In addition, the genuine tools and spare tire are also attached as accessories.
