Crosslé was a major force in Formula Ford through 1970's, winning the Allied Polymer British FF2000 Championship in 1975 and 1976 with its first design for the 2-litre class, the 31F. The 33F followed in 1977, driven by Desiré Wilson amongst others.

Twenty eight 33F were built in 1977/78 and this is chassis 33F-78-24.

Having acquired this car in 2013 as a stalled project, Crosslé Car Company carried out a factory restoration from chassis to completion. The car includes many new parts, manufactured at the same factory at Rory's Wood where the 33F first took shape, and is presented virtually as-new but in full original specification.

Many 33F found their way to the Netherlands, winning the Dutch championship in 1977. This car is presented with original GRAKU split-rim wheel centres, made in Holland and restored together with new rims.

The car comes complete with reconditioned Hewland Mk9 gearbox and engine by Stephen Patton, winner of the 2014 WHT, recently dyno tested and unused since.

Ready to race, with brand new equipment including Avon slicks, fire extinguisher and harness. The car needs nothing, other than a new owner to compete at the front in Historic Formula Ford 2000.
