The Che-Devil, as the build is called, started life as a real 138 VIN SS Chevelle, but the project quickly ran away into the street and show beast you see before you. The heart of it all is the Bill Mitchell built 540 CID Big Block Chevy rated at 625hp hiding under the hood. The Lemon custom headers have electronic cut-outs, allowing either moderate cruising volume or earth-shattering open header sound. The engine is paired to a Tremec TKO600 5 speed manual for those who like to row their own gears, and spins a Currie 9" rear with 3.73 gears. To get the best stance possible at shows while also being drivable, there is a 4 corner independently controllable air ride system by Air Ride Technology. Behind the Budnik wheels are Willwood disc brakes at all four corners to bring things to a quick and safe halt. Inside is a classic and clean leather interior with a custom dash and classic Hurst t-handle shifter. Adding to the show is the fully custom trunk. The speakers, amplifiers, and fuses are all very cleanly installed, and have the option of being displayed with lights or hidden beneath great leather upholstery for a clean look.
