1966 AC Cobra for sale in our Tampa Showroom. This is a Factory Five replica that is titled as a 2010 ASPT. It has 1,000 miles since it was built and runs great! The power is provided by a 393 stroker putting down 500 horsepower. That powerhouse is mated to a 5 speed TKO manual transmission and runs to a Ford 9" rear end with 4.11 gears. The engine stays cool and clean with an external oil cooler than runs to an external oil filter up near the fan for easy oil changes. The engine is a 351 bored and stroked to a 393 with Edelbrock Victor Jr intake, Holley carburetor, ceramic coated headers running to chrome side pipes, MDS distributor, MDS 6AL ignition box, MDS coil, aluminum radiator with electric fan, fuel pressure regulator, chrome alternator, aluminum valve covers, and Edelbrock air cleaner. In the trunk rest the fuel cell and an Optima red top battery for sure starts every time. All of that power gets to the ground through tubular control arms with adjustable coil over shocks and with Sumitumo tires making sure you stick tight in the turns. Stopping power is provided by 4 wheel disc brakes and the steering is done through a power rack and pinion setup. Inside you are kept secure with Kirkey racing bucket seats with Simpson harnesses. Auto Meter gauges allow you to keep an eye on every aspect you could care aboue and a JVC AM/FM/CD player provides the tunes. A fire extinguisher in the cabin and the trunk are there for added security. Better safe than sorry, right!? The hood and trunk are both on shocks to make opening them very easy.
