One of the many inventive lights designed by Achille Castiglioni (1918-2002) and his brother Pier Giacomo Castiglioni (1913-1968) for Flos, the Toio floor lamp was inspired by a car reflector in homage to the "readymades" of artist Marcel Duchamp. This 1962 design has an angle iron and formed steel base with an adjustable stem of hexagonal nickel-plated brass. A dimmer on the cable regulates light brightness.
