Waste Beam Cabinet, High Gloss
US$33,750.00 The Waste Beam Cabinet is part of Piet Hein Eek's limited Beam collection. The cabinet takes the form of a pile of beams and has a geometric pattern that strongly contrasts the roundness of the wood striations that are emphasized in the rest of the collection's pieces. An interior cupboard is fitted into the exterior body and the sides of the plywood are covered by solid wood. In this way, the fixtures of the blocks of wood are kept out of sight, and the end grain of the plywood is finished. The measurements, the solution for the skirting, and the way the handle is concealed in the surface of the timber are all examples of ways in which the materials guided the design.Pinewood 92" W x 23 1/2" D x 27" H
