Paul Salet is an artist who is dedicated to creating objects and furniture. In his work Paul mainly uses old wood and all kinds of found materials. Which, literally and figuratively speaking ,result into free forms.
With the SOURIS series Paul starts with existing oak chairs of which the shape appeals to him. He then manipulates these chairs with tools ranging from chainsaws to fine sandpaper. Eventually resulting in a chair of good use with a playful shape.
