Designed in 1956 by Poul Kjærholm, this square coffee table distills its structure into identical components that come together to stunning effect. The PK61 also shows Kjærholm's roots in industrial design-the four steel base elements are joined with machine screws that lend the table part of its unique look-and the removable glass top demonstrates his recurring principle of using gravity to keep the elements in place.
