A hand-blown amber coloured glass Fungo table lamp designed by Massimo Vignelli at the start of his impressive career in design and executed by Murano glass specialist Venini.

These lamps were made in various sizes: this is a medium high variant of 25 cm / 10 inch. We also have a large amber coloured version in our collection.

The Fungo lamp is described in the Repertorio del Design Italiano 1950-2000 by Giuliana Gramigna on Page 49 (1956).
