Table lamp, model Vaga, designed by Franco Mirenzi and produced by Valenti Luce in 1978.

The relatively heavy base provides a solid balance for the fairly large round metal top of the lamp. The lamp is made of metal and the on / of switch also works as a dimmer.

Patina consistent with age and use and signs of wear - i.e. some, non disturbing, scratches on the semi sphere.

This table lamp is described in the 'Repertorio del Design Italiano 1950-2000' by Giuliana Gramigna on Page 269 (1979).
